Ariston AIB14 Advantage – F-10 Fault Code

The F-10 fault code appeared when I switched on the washing machine last week. It will no longer progress a cycle and it makes a throbbing/churning sound whenever I now start a wash programme.

I have tried resetting, switching off, changing the programme, cleaning the filters and checking the waste for blockages without success. Please can someone let me know what this code means and what might be wrong?

Pressure switch not sensing correctly. could be several things but i would start bychecking for faulty pressure switch , blocked air hose or air resevoir.

Remember, power off before anything

I’ve now tried disconnecting the air hose from the pressure switch and blowing down it, didn’t seem to be any blockages. I’ve also blown into the pressure switch and it seems to trigger ok. Not sure where the air reservoir is (had never looked inside a washing machine before today!). Any suggestions for other things to try would be much appreciated….
