Ariston AIB16 F12 fault

I fitted new bearings in this machine yesterday, went to test with screen going blank and an F12 fault communications error? Anyone know what I have done and what the cure is, as it was all working before, is there also a reset sequence and also test one.

No reset or test without the Emit/Wash doctor software only available to their own engineers.

You need to check all connections between the two PCB’s for bad contact plus all other wiring connections.

Thanks Jim ,stripped all down but could not find a loose or broken wire, the display comes on when switched on but the second you press start it goes blank then the F12 code appears, I know nothing about these but presume it is the same as the Zanussi and a new ribbon is the answer unless someone knows better,
