    Hi Folks

    What a tremendous forum this is for idiots like myself! 😀

    I have a question on my Ariston ALD 12 Margerhita 2000 machine, the seal has gone and I have removed and am trying to replace with a new one ordered from Merloni.

    I have tried to no avail to fit the spring round the seal…anyone have any tips for doing this? 😥

    Extra pair of hands is the best way – lean the machine back at a good angle to let the drum fall back and create more room. One pair of hands to “lock” from the top, one pair of hands to “feed” through the front.
