    Hi,
I have an Ariston AS100 slimline dishwasher which is leaking from the bottom left hand corner of the door.
I had an engineer out and he replaced the upper door seal and told me not to use 3 in 1 tablets.
So, now I use the cheapest powder I can find but it is still leaking and now the warranty is out of date.
I am a maintenance fitter so feel I should be able to work this out!
To me the bottom door seal seems too short,i.e it doesn’t go right up to the sides of the machine,Is this correct?
I ran the machine with the front panel of the door off and you can see the water splashes over the lip at the front edge of the machine in the gap between the seal and the inner side of the machine. Then it runs down and drips off the bottom front edge.
Would a new lower door seal fix this?Because at £20 I am reluctant just to try it.
Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

I would be more inclined to try using a good quality powder first to be honest, even powder on it’s own can over foam if the quality is not so good 😉

    Dave.
