    Hi,
    I have my Ariston AVD 149 washing machine for just one month or so and during its last washing cycle, when slowing down from spinning it suddenly stopped and alerted fault code F-02, while the door remained blocked.
    I started a very short cycle to deblock the door, because just switching on and off the machine didn’t work.
    Could somebody tell me wath this means? Thanks a lot!

    Hi Valerie

    F02 according to my info means either a fault with the motor/motor tacho or the module triac has failed. It could be either at fault. The best bet would be to call out an engineer to find out which is at fault. Either part would cost around the £90.00 mark. Merloni use to have a 5year parts on all Ariston if you registered your date of purchase.
