ParticipantHi
I have a French Ariston AVL 120 – this seems to have many guises (looks like AVL 109 and others) but I cant seem to find the UK equivalent or underlying Indesit/Hotpoint machine.Anyway it sometimes stops just before the spin section, – rapid flashing key light and the bottom 2 of the 4 buttons left of the key button are flashing. The 4 buttons are Timer, Super wash, easy iron, quick wash (excuse rusty French!) – last 2 are flashing. I searched on here but the info I found refers only to 5 buttons.
Thanks for your help!

There is only one model of this Indesit junk sold in the UK as far as I can see.
Error codes are shown by flashing a combination of the bottom, left hand indicator light and the four right hand column of buttons/lights.
Possibly F03..

Thanks, the bottom 2 of the right hand column are flashing making 24 – but the list here http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … codes.html only goes to 16 ?

Those are totally different machines and error codes, you do have F03.

Great, thanks, I will check it out – though if it was the thermistor I would expect to see the abort happen on the fill/heat cycle rather than the empty before spin ?
Oh and re the piece of junk,
a) it was bought before I discovered this forum
b) I did just buy a SEBO vacuum since I discovered this forum (and yes it is a seriously quality piece of kit!)January 31, 2012 at 9:07 am #367792iadom

The error codes are only a rough guide, with the electronics on these anything is possible. :rolls:
