Ariston avxxf129 washing machine won’t spin

I have an Ariston avxxf129 washing machine, that I bought new 6 years ago, it fills washes and empties. It starts the spin cycle but does not get up to speed. I can hear the pump working and have checked that there is no blockage. The drum just keeps going round for 10 minutes and then the LED lights up ‘F-08’. It then will not do anything until I unplug it. I have tried it on a rinse cycle, again it fills up and empties as normal but will not complete the spin cycle. Any ideas please?

Do a forum search, Enter Indesit and eight flashes, same machine, same error code. :rolls:

Just put eight flashes in the washing machine forum search box. Anything that comes up related to Hotpoint, Indesit or Ariston relates to your problem, suffice to say it is generally not good news. 🙁
