    Help please!!
    When attempting to dry clothes, the machine makes a clunky noise. Thought I might need to clean out the filter. Removed the panel covering, turned the black round knob counterclockwise but then what? Does the round bit pull out? because I did try and it won’t budge. Does the whole bottom panel need removing? Something unscrewed?

    probably wont turn because something is jamming it if you remove full pump you will see 3 screws holding it together take this apart and you should find obstruction,,or turn black knob with pliers and break it but you will need to buy a new one

    Hmm that sounds better than paying £90 and waiting 3 weeks for someone else to fix it. The first part, not the breaking part.
    What do you mean by removing the full pump? Don’t know much about washer/dryers, sorry.

    The entire pump will need removing from the machine in order to access the obstruction and reassemble. Not a DIY job but best left to a local expert (click the link below!)

    One more question. Does this thing stuck in the filter prevent me from using both the washing and drying functions or could I possibly use one of them?

    Anything stuck in the filter that shouldn’t be there has to be dealt with as soon as possible as it can radically effect the operation of the entire appliance. ❗
