ParticipantHi, I have just fitted a new module board and upon the first trial run the machine now fills with water and the pump pumps it out, the dial rotates and I get 3 flashes. Any advice welcome and appreciated. Chris

Participantgrrr, 2 threads isnt good
its not sensing the ntc.. which is the temperature sensor on the rear of the tub
it might be worth chicking the connections on the pcb/ntc
keep it to one post please, it avoids confusion

Hi again, I checked all conections to module board and I’m pretty sure there OK but the problem remains the same. If I set the dial to the reset dot I get a slow flashing light then after about 10 seconds it starts to fill with water and at the same time the pump starts to empty the water, then the dial begins to click round with the 3 flash code. Is there any other thing I could check or replace. Thanks again, Chris

Hi, I bought it online from the ariston parts site. unfortunatly. I had’nt found your site at the time. Hope this does’nt disqualify me from receiving help. The machine is about 5 years old but has had little use as it is fitted in a american motorhome. I would not bother and buy a new one but to get it out means removing a window ect. quite a big job and I’d need about four strong men. Hope to hear from you again. Thanks Chris

ParticipantHi, No they did’nt tell me I needed to programe the board. I notice this site does not sell an eprom, I can buy one from the ariston site for 33.99. Can you give me any advice about what to do once I’ve got it. I’m a retired engineer but electrics was never my strong point, changing a board with a few plugs and hey presto seemed the easy option, I am now determined to fix this bl****** machine if it’s the last thing I do. Thanks for your help to date. Regards Chris

Participantif its a later board, then you cant fit an eprom.. itll have a blank one installed…. there WILL have been a big sticker on the box warning you to program it using a smart card
for me, id contact tony at http://www.emwelec.co.uk/
he will be very helpful.. he could program the board youve got, or he could send you an exchange pcb overnight
unless your prepared to spend £60+vat for a reader and £20 +vat for a card, you dont really have another option im afraid
sorry

ParticipantHi, thanks for that lead I’ll give them a ring tomorrow and hopefully they’ll be able to sort things out. All thats on the box is a sicker saying module no eeprom. Thanks again I’ll let you know how I get on. Cheers Chris

I’m having an issue with my washer dryer where it automatically goes to the dryer after the short cycle (cycle 8) finishes. The timer is set to 0 at the time yet it continues to go to the dryer,
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Plug falling of dryer selector can cause this. Power off before removing lid.

Apologies, but not sure what you mean by “Plug Falling” 😯
A basic explanation would be much appreciated
