It was working fine (which I now understand is a rare thing!), but the bearings were noisy.

I’ve had it apart and put new bearings in, put it all back together and now nothing.

Power is getting to the on/off switch but no lights and no action.

It did start for a couple of minutes, started filling and then stoped with a couple of inches of water in the bottom. Happened to lean on the plastic cover near the inlet valves and it started up again. I put it on a spin to try and empty it, it emptied and then just stopped again.

I’ve looked at all of the wiring and cant see any thing wrong, tapped the inlet valves and nothing.

I’ve tried to see if I’ve disturbed anything while changing the bearings and all seems visually ok.

Any ideas before I head off to the washing machine shop?

It points to a bad contact somewhere, almost impossible to second guess from a distance. A multimeter, or any form of circuit tester together with the appropriate wiring diagram is what it needed, getting hold of the former is easy, obtaining the latter is when your problems begin. 😥

    Jim.
