    Hello All,
I am the lucky owner of a 2 year old Ariston AWD12 washer dryer.

The Machine has been working fine for the past 2 years, however last week it appeared to go off 5 mins into a program. The power light was out, tried powering off & on at the wall, nothing. Switched off and left for 30 mins then powered back on and magically it sprung back to life. Completed a full cycle no problem.

I turned it on today, it filled with water turned a couple of times, then went off again completely. No power light or sign of life. Tried several power offs & ons, put tester on output terminals of power input of machine, this is showing power coming into the machine ok.

Am I right in guessing the computer board has gone ker-put?

Not neccessarily J, check the interference suppressor, I’ve had these fail.

Power off though, I notice you appear to be doing live checks, please don’t !! :zap:

    Hello,

Checked using a voltmeter accross the live & neutral output terminals of the interference suppressor as you mention reveals a mains voltage of 242v. So there is power coming out of it?

It would appear to be OK (despite me plees of not testing it live)

Engineer time then to be honest, have a look in repairs@ for one 😀

You’d have been in here for advice after 366 days with the Hotpoint 😀 .
