Ariston AWD12 problem…

Hoping someone can help please.

We have an AWD12 which yesterday decided to lose the plot…

Mid-cycle the dial started to spin round and round constantly with the drum not turning and full of water. It unlocked eventually and I got everything out (and a wet kitchen).

It continues to do the same each time I switch it on now, fill up and the dial turns and turns.

It is under warranty and an engineer is out next week but I’m wondering if there is anything I could try in the meantime.

Pump filter blocked (behind front kick panel) I think you will find?

something I could fix, being a complete novice??

or wait for the engineer next Monday? A simple job for them to fix??

The user instruction booklet should refer to the Pump Filter and if your machine has got one behind that Kick Panel then it is designed for ‘user access’ 😉

Take a peek why don’t you, but do please :plug: TURN THE POWER OFF FIRST :zap:
