    Guys,

Went to the above machine on Friday after the customer reported that the machine appears to overflow during a wash cycle. The customer was using the daily wash (8) when he heard the machine filling for what he considered far too long. He told me that an attempt to drain the machine by changing the selector didn’t work, the selector automatically clicked back to the daily wash option. Only when he turned the machine off at the mains did it stop filling.

On my visit I could not see any issue with te machine, tested it and spent 30 mins watching it go through a cycle perfectly. Askked him to notify me of any further problems. 2 washes later he’s back on the phone with the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas before I go back?? I’m assuming it’s a module error but I don’t want to jumpt to conclusions. The board didn’t appear to have any obvious signs of damage.

I’m gogint to try and get back to it tomorrow to take a look and see if I can get the error code from the machine (if it does it for me).

Could be pressure switch has intermittent blockage, or has
itself gone intermittent. Module connections might need sorting out with a sewing needle or could be as you say, module. (EMW time?)
Getting a bit ancient now. (May be a museum piece where that brand is concerned.) Fix it this week and like as not it’ll throw up an f08 next, or the drum’ll collapse.(Grrr.)
    Mike.
