    My Ariston CDE12X has deveoped the following fault – the drain pump is constantly running, the programe selector constantly clicks round and the light flashes 10 times !!! any ideas to the cause ???

    It suggests that the pressure switch is not sensing correctly. It could be any number of things, faulty pressure switch, tiny hole in pressure hose, blockages in the hose or elswhere.

    Be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to ‘have a go’
