Ariston Drum Support

Hi,

I have an (Old) Ariston AV839 margharita and the centre of the inner drum support (Spider) has sheared off from the three legs. The support looks riveted to the inner drum so does this mean I would need to purchase a new inner drum complete or is there a different/modified spider that can simply bolt in through the holes where the rivets are.
Finally has anyone seen a reasonably priced inner drum for one of these models or is it time to send the faithful old machine to the big washer heaven.

I’m afraid so, new drum (Part No C00036389) costs over £120…! 🙁

Damn, Thanks for the reply Martin.
I was hoping there was a later or modified part I could have used and bolted in place instead of the original as I hate throwing out things for the sake of one part when the rest of it works.
Stupid idea riveting it on and selling the whole drum! 😡
