Hi Everyone

Been out to this f/f, freezer seems fine but fridge is warm, compressor comes on when freezer needs more cooling but evaporator in fridge stays warm

anyone any ideas

be worth checking electro valve on back they are prone to failure

Can you tell me where exactly this valve is and its purpose, and can it be replaced without breaking into refrigeration pipework

It may well be that the electrical part of the valve assembly is faulty which wont need to break into the system,but you have to purchase the complete unit and just change the electrics.

Normally on the left hand side looking from the rear,Its got a pipe copming from the drier and 2 capillaries coming out.

This valve is it a “diverter Valve”? @ £24.00 + Vat It just I have been trying to source part before I take on repair.

yes it is called a diverter valve.But if the valve is faulty you will need to vac out & regas.
