You see that a lot Martin across a number of brands.

What you’ll probably find is that the parts shown are on a fit list somewhere as being used on that model, even if it was never officially sold in the UK. That means that, while you may be able to get some parts, official support in the UK may well not be available as the product was never intended to be sold in this region. So, Indesit UK will look at you as if you’re stupid should you ask them for anything and probably won’t be able to help much.

I’m with Jim on this, unless it is specifically noted as fitting that model I wouldn’t chance it with model specific items such as this unless you are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure.

    Folks,

Brilliant information on this forum, thanks again even if I don’t fully understand it all…eeprom? Anyway, we’ve decided to replace the oven but now have another challenge as the original Ariston just plugged into a 13A socket whereas the replacement we want is 16A and hardwired so now we need an electrician! It never rains but it pours…

The eeprom is a small chip on the pcb that stores the programmes and control information for each model. In the case of Indesit made appliances especially laundry even the same model can have three or four different eeproms. 🙁
