Just a quick bit of help if some one could please.

Switch End terminal C00029159

Switch Side Terminal C00049825

Which is the side and which is the end ??
Excuse my “diagramme” below. I just thought a picture paints a thousand words. Not sure how it’s going to come out when published. I’ve got a photo but it’s a bit blurd. The terminals are on the longer sides of the rectangle.

I’m quite sure it’s side terminals but it’s special order from MP and need to get it correct.

Also pilot lamp holder, is it avialable seperately from the lamp??

Not sure if it is any use but the side terminal switch also says 7 position.

The pilot lense cover is C00036428. Lamp does not appear to be available at all.

Also the side terminal switch is listed as a C00049824, the number you posted, C00049825 is not recognised.

Having said that, the diagram on Partfinder is ridiculous, at the top it lists this as an electric hob, and yet the diagram shows a gas hob 😕

Your’re correct with the part number,I miss typed. It is C00049824 for the side terminal switch. Does it only list one switch or both ? It’s the switch for one of the smaller plates and is second from top down. Are they all listed as 7 position switches? (no help with the diagrame though)

I’d like to get the hob fixed but obviously got to get the part correct first time. I’ve tried everywhere to get a picture of the side terminal switch but no one’s got one. You’re right though, some suppliers got it listed as a gas hob !!!

A regular customer of mine and they think I can work miracles since I fixed their 14 year old Zanu TD that’s now 16 years old and still going strong.

It just lists two switches, one ‘switch end terminal’. the other, ‘switch side terminal 7 position’. no mention of serial number variants etc.

I have looked at all the six colour variants on Partfinder and they all show a gas hob picture, for the outrageous charge Merloni make for this software you would think they would at least get it right. 👿

Perhaps someone else will confirm that the diagram for this model is wrong.

Unless one of the helpful company engineers has a live copy of Partfinder with the correct info there is not much else I can suggest.

Just to update this one as well. Even Hotp tech support couldn’t help, even their records show it as a gas hob !!!. They recommnded C00029159 but it didn’t sound correct (switch – end terminals) and I was sure it was a (switch side terminals) – but no pictures anywhere to confirm. Eventually received C00049824 after a long time on back order -Bingo – I was correct….
