First thing to try is ‘Resetting’ the control panel. See your user instructions 😉

Count the flashes, there should be a sequence to it with a pause in between.

It soulds like the control unit has gone to me 😥

I would get an engineer out to check it though, although the “control card kit” as it is described is surprisingly reasonable at about £45

hi if its first led of four flashing it indicates water has overflowed and is present in base

    Re: ariston LI62 dishwasher fault

got past first led and emptied pan so now a drainage and pump problem i think

if you start the cycle it fills no probs but that is it wont pump or nothing.

then you reset the cycle it wont drain again the pump is needed i think

    This is a guess

So again any engineers in the Warrington area

Am new to this, so sorry for clumsiness.
My machine has same fault – does ‘water in the base’ mean where I can see it, or elsewhere? The pump seems to work OK, and there’s no water I can see inside, but it still stops after this part of the cycle. Same light on (heavy soil), same problem.
If the control board is kaputt, where can I get a replacement from? Ariston want £90 to come out!

    Re: ariston LI62 dishwasher fault

Merlino (where did you get that name from BTW ?), I have to assume it’s the same model as the origiator of the threads ?

Try tilting the machine over to one side slightly and see if any water runs out, with an old towel handy 😉

The control unit is £41.34 inc VAT for your info, it may not be that that’s failed though.

Take a look in the directories for an Independant repairer near you or pop your postcode here, we will certainly be a lot less expensive than Merloni and faster as well.

    Dave.
