Ariston LSI 61 (LSI 2E2500 )

I am back to you about the Dishwasher . If could help please help ;
I tried flicking the on/off Switch and holding the P button but I am getting the first Led of the 4 to flash but when I release the P button I dies again .
This machine is about 4 years old , all around the motor and in the base of the machine is totally dry .With the machine plugged in and turned on , I flicked the flood switch and the machine pumped out for about 3 or 4 mins while it was th first l.e.d was flashing and remained flashing when I opened the door . it would not allow me to select another Prog and when I turned off the on/off I was back to no lights again just th Pilot light .
