    Hi

Had a problem with the dishwasher last night, there was water on the floor and the machine was just humming with the left led flashing. I switched it off and thoguht I’d investigate this morning.

The drainaige tray was full of rice, I emptied that but the problem was still there. Then I found this forum and thought it sounded like water in the base, I took the door off (it’s an integrated unit) popped the plastic covers off the base to find there was a fair bit of water there.

I dried it will towels and the float has gone back down, put it back together but now cannot get any programme lights to work. The power light comes on but when you press the programme buttom nothing happens.

I’ve read on the forum about a reset procedure but can’t find out how to do it, I’ve lost my instruction booklet so can’t look in there.

Can anyone help with a reset procedure or anything else which might help?

    Thanks

The circulation pump motor may have been soaked with water. Does your house electrics have an RCD (trip switch)?. Unplug first for safety :zap: . You may require an engineer to check out the cause of the fault. Try Repairs@ on the LHS of page.

Yes we do have a trip meter and it did trip the fuses. Now it’s all dry it doesn’t trip the fuses anymore, just can’t get the programme to select.

    Is it worth a reset?

I don’t mind getting the engineer out to fix it, if there’s a problem, I’d be gutted if he comes out and hits a couple of buttons to get it working for £90.
