    Hi,
    Can anyone help.
    My washing machine is a Ariston Margherita A1535 and alas it is sick.
    The dial rotates continuously and the red power neon flashes 8 times and pauses and flashes again 8 times. Water is let in and the pump lets it again continuously.
    Any help would be appreciated. 🙁

    Magherita,

    It usually indicates a Heater problem or the Heater circuit is interrupted in some way. 🙁

    Time to call out an engineer I reckon…fill in your details in our repairs@ to get a local engineers advice 😉

    8 flashes refers to a heater control problem which is not a DIY repair I’m afraid.

    Have a look at repairs@ or the directories to see if there’s an engineer locally that can provide a service visit for you.
