ParticipantI did look at the sticky ‘Instruction manuals’, but the link for Ariston doesn’t have any mention of Ariston once you get there. Have the owners of that site changed their content?
Anyway, while a copy of the full manual would be nice, I would really only like to know what the four buttons on the top-centre of the Margerita CD12T do. They are all only labelled with symbols which are pretty meaningless to me as a bachelor.
Any guidance appreciated. 🙂

Can’t recall off the top of my head. Describe what symbols you’ve got and I should be able to work it out.

Let me try…
——-/
____/
(I guess this has something to do with the water level?)1200
600
(The spin speed? But is button in = 1200, or button in = 600?)Next symbol is a spiral with a cross X through it. No spin?
And the last one is just bizzare! Imagine a scoop of icecream, with a cherry on top, that has hit the ground. So a flat bottomed circle, with a small dot on the top. And it has a dash – at the 12 o’clock position inside the circle, ie below the ‘cherry’.
It would be useful to know when to use them. All the buttons are out (off?) and the machine seems to wash just fine, but if there is economy to be had, I suppose we should try be a bit greener.
Thanks!
Derek

Not bad deduction………
First one is probably Rinse Hold. Push the button, machine goes wash, rinse, last rinse, stop (full of water). You come along, let button out, into the spin sequence and finish.
Second one, spin speed for sure. Cotton wash only will spin at 1200 (that’s the first group of programmes on the dial). Pushing the button will peg it back to 600.
Third one is Spin Cancel. Drum will idle over whilst the machine drains.
I can envisage the last one clearly, but the answer is not coming, sorry.
There is no economy option per se – the standard cotton wash is “A” class for energy and “B” class for spin, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Have a look in the “Advice and help” section on the top left – there’s a wealth of info as to how to get the best out of your appliance.
Sometime tomorrow, the light bulb will come on about the 4th button – I’ll post it when I get it 😀

Could it be “Economy” wash?
i.e. ‘wash at temperature of incoming water’ (no heat)?
