I need to replace the drum bearings and seal on my a1234 washing machine . Is it a straitforward job?

No, it’s an absolutely horrible job. Cross piece on the back has to come out. If there is any wear on the drum shaft, you have to buy a new tank assembly. Handle the current one with kid gloves, the back panel has the structural properties of bacofoil.

Bearing kit is AR05105. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you a set promptly.

Power off, of course.

thanks for reply i have got the bearings of (whith the help of a big hammer amd slashed wrists) the spider is aloy and the shaft is 30 mill dia
is this the correct bearing kit you have listed (ar051050)
