Ariston Margherita 2000 – 8 flashes

Hello!

I am another of those people who has a problem with an Ariston Margherita 2000 🙁

I’ve had it now for about 2 years and it has started to do the “dial clicking round” thing. I have counted the flashes and it flashes 8 times.

Any ideas as to what this might indicate? It’s only on the cotton cycles – the others seem to be unaffected so far!

Mandy,

Probably due to Heater Relay on the main Control Module Board type problem (very common on these machines 🙁 ) Expensive to fix due to replacement component cost I’m afraid.

If your machine has an extended warranty I recommend getting it looked at by the relevant service agents 😉 I fear it will cause all the programmes problems in the near furture 🙄

Well, since I have no extended warranty, I guess I’ll be down to Currys this afternoon to get a new washing machine… Not an Ariston though, that’s for sure! 😡 Maybe a Bosch…
