my machine is a margherita AC 128L…..
i did’nt try what the pinguin said yet, because i’m a “left handed” (as we say in france… it means that i’m not a tools-guy..)…:?
i think my filter might be full because my white clothes are not so white after washing…
my mom told me to empty the filter and i can’t figure out a way to do it..if you have a clue….
long live to ukwhitegoods!! 😛
Pierre
(too bad we don’t have forums like that in france…)
P.S. sorry for the grammaticals mistakes… 🙂

That model is not recognised in the UK so we cannot point you in the right direction other than how Penquin descibed above. If you have got a filter it will be designed for the user to clean out and will not tax you left hands too much.

What if the little light flashes 5 times, and the machine won’t drain o properly?

5 flashes indicates a pressure switch problem. You need to check for blockages. As your machine isn’t draining properly I’d suggest starting with the filter and hoses.

Just for the sake of repeating other people I have a problem with an Ariston Magherita 2000. The water is not leaving the drum of the washer and the setting dial keeps on moving round. The washer was stopped mid-cycle and the door opened.
My wife seam to think this has happened before and there is away of fixing it by setting it to one of the end of cycle marks? Have missplaced the distructions and wife away for the week so any help would be appreciatedAugust 23, 2004 at 3:47 pm #112471Martin

You will need a new Door Handle Kit replacing (Part No: C00065250) Available from us via ‘shop@’ on the Navigation Bar 😉 Thats assuming you have the same machine model as in the original posting (i.e AWD10UK)

Ariston and on and on? I’ve already changed the “n” to a “p”!!

On the subject of error codes, can somebody please tell me what 13 flashes on a margherita 2000 refers to?

Hi Marissa, F13 – Its a problem with the dryer part, but fault codes are only an enginners guideline so there may be a couple of possibilities,

Hi, I’ve got a margherita 2000 AWD125 Advantage which is doing exactly the same thing. Whichever programme I select, the knob just keeps clicking around. When it starts doing it, the neon flashes very rapidly – too fast to count how many times, then, whilst it’s clicking round, it settles into flashing in groups of 3. I’ve emptied the filter, checked the drain. Any other ideas anyone? It’s driving me insane javascript:emoticon(‘8O’). It’s been doing it for a while but been ok after combinations of draining filter/setting it to “pump” before a programme/turning off the power etc, but nothing is working now at all. Even when I turn it to “stop/reset” it does the same thing – water in the pre-wash compartment, pumping and the clicking round of the dial… It’s only 3 years old and I’ve treated it well….
Please help!!

Theoretically it’s a temperature sensor problem – sensor failed, wiring broken at terminals (famous fault) or associated circuitry on the computer board. Awkward one – pro help often best bet.
Check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW engineer in your area.
If you wish to look yourself, pull the plug first :plug:

Thanks Penguin – sorry for the double post, I didn’t notice the date of this one until I’d submitted so thought the thread was dead – I’m still quite new to all this internet malarcky 😳 I’ll quote your reply and post a response on my thread entitled
“Margherita 2000 AWD125 Advantage – knob clicking round”
in case anyone else has had this problem.
