    Had the machine for 5 trouble free years until now. It appears to be drying the clothes but there is no heat. Advice welcome.

    Element or thermal fuse most likely culprit. Possible wiring problems. If the thermal fuse has failed, the condenser housing on the back of the drum will be choked with fluff and will need to be cleaned.

    Heater is HERE.
    Thermal fuse is HERE.

    Power off before touching anything.

    Same problem on my AWD 12s (no heat in dryer) – sleeve around thermal fuse was fractured/scorched, does this make it the most likely culprit?

    Measured resistance on dryer heating element at about 37 Ohms if that helps.
