Keymasterhi
after some totally amazing help from you guys earlier my washing machine from hell has now changed tactics!
it still isn’t working but instead of flashing 12 times when i turn it on it is flashing 3 times, starting to fill flashing 3 times again and then…….the nob stats clicking round again….shock
you said earlier that the previous 12 flashes indicate an electrical fault which according to my local dude is gonna be about £140 (£80 for modulator and £60 for labour! aaarrrrgggghhh)
are these new flashes gonna cost me less if anyone could help i’d be soo greatful been tearing my hair out since about 3 o’clock this afternoon (also unlpugged washing machine before i turned off water….very stupid…very wet….oh my god!)thanks again guys

3 is to do with the temperature control circuit – sensor failed, broken wiring at the sensor very common problem. Power off if you’re investigating further.

Mojo – turn it off…….. So far you’ve posted 3 different lots of codes; it all points to the computer having a fit. With the best will in the world, you need to get some pro help – check Repairs@ or Directories for a UKW engineer in your area.
If the computer has gone barking, it’s not the end of the world as reconditioned units are available at rather more sensible prices than Ariston charge. Also, discuss charges with your engineer before the visit so as you have an idea what to expect.

Show him the threads by all means – if your chosen repairer is not a UKW member, tell him to sign up!
BTW, all the people who have replied to you are professional repairers, so we’re not exactly sciving off for the weekend……. 😆
Let us know how it pans out – we love a happy ending.

Contact Ariston (indesit company) direct to repair it as you do have a 5 year parts guarantee with them – so for around £90 they will fix it for youClyde
