ariston margherita a1234 advangatge door probs

Hi,

Our several year old ariston margherita a1234 advangatge has developed a fault……

at the end of the cycle the door lock led is on and the door will not open (the door handle feels very loose like it’s not pulling!)

Any ideas what this may be or how I can test it or get it to give me fault codes??

Like as not the plastic door handle has broken. Complete kit is a C00116580. A bit of a fiddle but can be done with patience.

THIS is the one you need.

Thanks for that.
Now I’m home it does look like thats the problem as I can see broken plastic inside.

Problem is though……….

how the hell does the handle come off whilst the door is closed?????

To open door – 4′ of stout string. Work the centre of the string under the edge of the door where the hook sticks out. Take one end over the top of the door and one end under the door. Pull both ends at the same time – door will open.
