ParticipantMy machine goes through the complete cycle, or so I think, until it gets to the rinse cycle.
It fills with water and goes through the spinning routine before draining the used water but this is as far as it goes. The pump runs for about 3 minutes and then the programmer clicks round continually.
I have already checked the outlet hose, the termination under the sink into the main waste pipe and the filter at the base of the machine. I have also opened the filter compartment at the base of the machine whilst the pump is trying to pump water that isn’t in the machine out and all appears okay.
I have read other posts indicating a water level switch and I will probably try to check this out if you agree this would be the next step.
How much would this part be for my machine with postage?

When the control knob starts to click round, the mains indicator light should flash a set number of times then pause, then flash the same number again and again. If it is flashing you need to count the flashes and report back as this is an error code, not always a reliable one but it may give us some idea.

Probably the obvious one considering the fault description. I am getting five flashes when the fault appears. I have read that this indicates a water levelling problem.
Now where do I go?

Five flashes does indicate a pressure switch fault, you have to bear in mind that these fault codes can be somewhat ambiguous to say the least. In fact it may not be the switch but a blockage in the pressure hose or pressure chamber.
The pressure switch is not over expensive but your machine can have two different types. We would need the full serial number to identify the correct one.

Is that the number inside door?

The serial number is 211122233 * 80280690000.
I think that’s the correct number. It came off the sticker inside door.

Yep, that’s the one, the pressure switch for this version is part number C00086660 at £10.14 plus carriage.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if required 🙂
As iadom says though, it’s not conclusive this is the problem and an engineer would be the best bet if you’re unsure, the repairs@ link below should provide one, power off if repairing yourself please :zap:
