Ariston Margherita AB 95 AUS fault

Hi,

When I select a program, it starts taking water for 1 or 2 seconds then stops for a minute and then starts pumping water out and rotate program selector continuously.
When the program selector is rotating the power LED is flashing very fast 3 times with 10 seconds pause between flashes.

I have tried resetting the machine using info from other topics.
I also checked filter, water pump and hose.
No success so far.

If I leave the machine alone for 2-3 hours, it sometimes starts working properly but half way through spin cycle it starts to spin very slowly and starts flashing its LED and rotating program knob as I mentioned above.

Fault code 3 (or 3 flashes in this case) is a temperature control error, possible the water temp sensor, the pcb control unit or poor connections.

Those components are virtually impossible to test without the correct test equipment other than obvious signs of damage.

May be time to call an engineer ?

our fault is almost the same the selector dial turns around but the red light flashes on and off without any pauses
on then off then on then off this model is a margherita about 16 months old yet in the manual it says it will do this sort of thing?

Then please simply count the rapid flashes before the steady flash and that will give us a clue as to the ‘possible’ problem 🙂
