Ariston Margherita AL 1 28D Washing/Dryer Machine

This is a brand new machine that comes with the apartment…but no manual 🙁 Please can someone tell me where I can get a manual?

Also, running (guessing) for the first time, it seems to be using hardly any water (mains are full on). Even with today’s water efficient machines, it seems strange. Please could anyone offer any advice?

Water levels, especially on wash, are extremely low – you will probably hear the machine repeatedly “topping up” in the early stages of the wash as the water soaks into the wash load.

🙁 …The URL displays hundreds of files…but the file names to not give a clue as to the type of manual. Which file is the one for the Margherita 2000 AL 1 28D? I can’t figure out how to use just the dryer 😕

Honest answer? No idea Ken, I’m sorry.

A rough guide is that machines with “electro-mechanical” timers (big drag and lots of clicking when you turn them manually) need the dryer knob setting and “half-load” selecting to operate. The digital machines (where the programme knob clicks as you pass each selection point) generally need only the dryer timer setting to operate.

A picture of the control panel to admin@ukwhitegoods.com will help us if this doesn’t work – it will be some variation of a Euro spec machine.
