KeymasterHi
I have the AWD12 Ariston model and have just noticed that I have the option of delaying the wash with a timer – 3, 9 or 12 hrs – but I’ve lost my manual and can’t figure out how it works. How would it know which programme to switch on to when the time is up as the timer control is on the same button as the programme control, or does it use a generic programme.
Would be very handy to use on Economy 7 rather than setting my alarm clock to get up an hour earlier if I have washing to do!
TIA

Give this a try;
Make sure the appliance is in reset mode (any 1 of the dots)
then move the dial to the time delay setting – leave it for at least 5 secs the on light will flash accepting the time delay. Then move the dial to you’re desired programme and the appliance should start after say 3 hrs.(You can reset the time delay/change programme by turning the dial to any of the reset dots)
Give it a go and let me know if that works.

Thankyou, that makes sense as it did flash then stop when I turned it to 3 hrs to try, so will now go set it to the programme I need and wait to see if it switches on in 3 hours 🙂

Just to follow up when I just switched it to the programme needed it started straight away so I turned it off at the switch, moved it back to the reset dot and turned it back on and waited for the light to stop flashing rapidly. I then turned it to 3hr delay, whereby it flashed then stopped, and then immediately turned it to the programme setting and it now appears to have gone into standby mode, so looks like we cracked it!
Thanks very much 😀
