    Hi,

    My Ariston Margherita is 7 yrs old. After selecting a wash, the machine attempts to fill then the dial starts rotating and the light flashes 7 times. Please tell me what this error code means in laymans terms?! Should I call a repair person or is it time to replace it? Many Thanks!!

    It specifically means that the heater relay on the computer board is stuck. You need to check the heater for resistance and the wiring for continuity with your test meter to eliminate them from your enquiries; if OK, the board is the culprit.
