KeymasterI have a problem with the above. It keeps filling with water, which eventually overflows down the drain hose. I suspected the level switch is faulty (after clearing out the pump etc). after a few trials with what I think are adjustment screws (2 or 3) I’ve realised that the cold water solenoid valve (white on the triple manifold) is open all the time a program is active, hence the overfilling. disconnecting the lead to the valve gives a perfect cycle. What is the function of the middle white cold valve (is it prerinse) and is it connected to the level switch, should I just change the level switch. It is 1 month out of warranty. me no kemo sabay.

This is a component failure on the computer board. Dave Conway will be able to price one up for you, but you won’t like it very much. Please don’t try and adjust the setting screwa on the pressure switch – it is almost impossible to set them accurately.

Stikes me the hose that connects to the Pressure switch is punctured and leaking air (rubbing against drum or cabinet causes this 😉
But since you have messed around with the adjusting screws will mean not only a new hose is required, but a new Pressure Switch too 🙄

Thank you to the masked man and the antartic falcon. I would be interested in knowing the price of the computer board. I shall investigate the hose idea, I’ll bubble test it under water. When playing with the adjusting screws, I was careful to be systematic, noting down turns and directions, and then resetting them back to see the effect. I adjusted 2 of the screws, the one nearest the connector block seemed to control pumping out, the next seemed to control main fill level, the 3rd screw I did not check as by then I had figured out that disconnecting the power to the middle (white) cold water valve got the machine into a working condition, although I dont know if it will function on other programs (test program 8, 30min wash). Thanks guys, you are heroes. 😕

There’s two dependant on serial number:
Up to 20527.0001 is part number C00093153 at £102.28
After 20527.0001 is part number C00093158 at £73.55.
Both inc VAT.

Thanks for the information. I have leak tested the pressure switch hose assembly under water, and it is not leaking, so the computer board looks like the culprit. The prices are about 30 to 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the cost of a new machine, so it is probably not economic to repair. Simple reliable machines are what we like, complex and fragile machines are good for the service industry. Again, thank you to those who have helped. 8)
