Ariston Marguerita 2000 A1635

My Ariston machine above recently developed a fault. when the machine is turned on and set to a specific cycle it fills and spins as you would expect for the first 3-4 minutes. It then attempts to move onto the next stage of the cycle and suddenly spins and empties and then the dial continues to click round until the machine is turned off. I have checked the filter and it appears to be clear. It also flashes (twice) slowly as it clicks round. Does anyone know if this is fixable or should I scrap it and buy a new one

f2 is motor jammed, or faulty triac, that being said, its probably the pcb from what you described

Is this a job for an engineer or could I fix it myself with a bit of guidance?
