hello, hopefully someone can help me!

Problem:- The washing machine goes through all pre wash and wash cycles. When it gets to the spin cycle it drains and starts to spin for 30 seconds approximately. The spin then stops and the delay timer and power on light flashes quickly and thats it. I have turn unit off to stop it flashing.

I’ve checked the filter and cleared out but its still happening. 😕

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Many thanks in advance

Re: ARISTON MODEL 1636 WASHING MACHINE STOPS DURING SPIN CYC

Just count the rapid red light flashes between each pause to establish the ‘Error Code’. The number of flashes will repeat over and over! 😉

Let us have the full model number please, is it an A1636 by any chance?

If it is an A1636 then you need to tell us by number from the top down which option light is flashing.

    Thanks for your replies.

Yes it is an ariston A1636 1600 Spin model ( a month out of warranty, can you believe it)

there are 4 buttons going top down
    1.delay timer
    2. super wash
    3. easy iron
    4. rapid

The top buttton (delay) flashes on and off, one second on, one second off and does not change, there are no different pauses, and it will not stop until I turn the unit off.

There is also a light straight across from the delay button (to the right of it) looks like the door open indicator light? It has a key icon next to it. This flashes but rapidly, much quicker than the other light with no pauses at all.

I hope this helps, many thanks for your time

    Al
