Help! Am I missing something really simple? I’m trying to get the front cover off my AWD12 pump but it only turns 45 degrees and doesn’t lift. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have coins trapped in the filter, the pump will probly have to be taken apart to be honest.

If you dont feel confident about doing this call an engineer or check out repairs@. It wont be a costly repair.

Pull the plug out before doing anything :plug: :zap:

    Thanks Clyde,
managed to get it out today and found one of my little boy’s socks in the chamber ( avoid age 12-18 months guys). Tried running a spin and tumble dry but seems not to drain. I’m getting 5 flashes- anyone know what this means?

    Hi rocky
    swich off first ❗ ❗ ❗
remove filter again and look inside the hole, check nothing is jamming the pump.
If you cant see anything in the hole or filter you must call out an engineer as parts will need replacing and the w/m checking before use, otherwise it may burn out the new pump.
5 flashes just means the water has not pumped out.

Thanks for the reply. What we would all do on a Sunday without washing machines?

    I’ll have another go.
