no model number guys, just some general advice, customer phoned me to ask to come fit a door seal to ariston margaretta washer dryer intergrated older type he had stripped it to bits, id normally walk off but had a quiet afternoon spare, silly me took about 2 hours to put it all back together :rolls: anyway here goes everything back together and the door seal was a job and half now noise as the drum touches the seal on rotation, nothing new a bit of washing up normally does the trick but this evil machine wont budge if i pull back slightly on the bottom of the seal the noise stops no bother, let go and its playing a tune, any advice? it may be slightly misaligned? or drum a little wobble? help :eeek:

i asked him that as soon as i arrived, he’s a difficult customer to connect with, i really should not have got involved with this one, he has now shifted the blame for any problem now onto me, a lesson learnt again here stay away from d.i.y iv stripped it down now in bits. thanks jim

DIY … Destroy It Yourself…. always make it policy to steer clear for as you say they then turn round and blame you for all the damage caused by their ham fisted stripping !
