    Morning all, This machine will spin without a load, but wont spin with a load.The timer continualy rotates. Tryed reseting several times. Eventualy i got it to spin and it made a very loud knocking noise on a fast spin.Bearings seem ok, can’t find anything loose. The machine is about 4 years old. Is this one of the machines that has module problems?

    How many times power-LED is flashing during programer rotation this is one question…
    For the second problem about noise when is not bearings:
    The most common faulty when you hear the knocking is the broken pulley.
    Forward you have to check: shock absorber supports; Counter weights; motor support and the last object is the integrity of drum(damaged)(only opening).

    As Baron asked….how many flashes are you getting when the dial starts waltzing around?

    Even without that info, I would suspect the motor or motor brushes are the cause?

    Again as Baron commented, check the pulley, but more than likely it’s got to be a broken spigot arm and time to consider the WEEE Directive as an option! 🙁

    Hi Martin,Baron.
    Thanks for your reply.I’ve checked pully,counterweight they look ok. The shock absorbers could do with changing though. I’ve tryed washvac and Masterpart both say they’re speacial orders 10 days plus. Do you know of anywhere i could get them quicker? Masterpart have given me a part number C00086515?
