Good morning, we have an Ariston washing machine AXD-80 EU, purchased in Spain just over two years ago. (it only has a two year warranty!)
This machine appears to be identical to the AIB range, however, with a 800 spin.
One day, the inlet valve burst, just as I was walking passed it – so not too much water inside.
Looking on your spares section, the part appears to be C00066518, however, our valve has an extension piece glued onto the back of the inlet valve to allow it to reach the rear casing and thus connect to the cold inlet.
As a temporary fix, I have cleaned off the glue, removed the plastic plate on the rear casing and connected the inlet pipe inside the machine directly onto the inlet valve. The burst was where the extension was glued onto the valve, so all works well.
In addition, I have supported the valve and inlet section with a bracket to stop it being too flexible.
My question is: does the above spare part come with an extension not shown on the photo, or do you know the correct part number for the valve for this machine?
As this problem occured the day before we left, I was unable to source a part locally.

Sorry for late reply, I was sailing around the Canaries last week so have only just spotted your post, The valves do come with the plastic bit already glued to them but it would be difficult to identify exactly which one is required for your machine. The parts software we have is for UK supplied machines and looking at the AIB models, the pictures do not make it clear if the valve has the extension piece on or not.
I have seen this type of valve fitted to Hotpoint branded machines as well but it varies with the age of the machine as well so accurate date code/serial number as well as model number is required to ID the correct part.
