ariston WD problem

AWD12UK

the dryer overheat thermal fuse cable keeps blowing about every 4 months.
condensor clean as a whistle after being cleaned.
solenoid valves ok.
fan motor seems fine and fan blades clean.
any ideas?

Make sure the customer is allowing it to complete its drying cycle. It switches the heater off in the last 10 mins or so to cool everything down. If they stop it halfway through and take the clothes out this can bloww the overheat stat.

The Hotpoint based version of W/D that uses the Indesit type heater box 😥 has had this problem for quite some time and has been modified to overcome the fault.

The AWD12UK has two different heater manifold kits available that should cure this problem. Need exact serial number to ID though.

Blower manifold kit 087919, just under £20 ex vat. Worth a try once you have eliminated all other avenues, including switching off too soon.
