    Hi,

We’ve just bought an Ariston WD12, and we’re having problems when it spins. It runs fine when it is empty, but with a load in, as it approaches full spin, it jumps around like crazy and starts to wander across the floor! Is this a fault or just an ‘uneven’ load? What can we do to prevent this? Curry’s want to send an engineer out, but I don’t want to watse their time!! Also, the machine is on a square of carpet on a laminated floor… could this worsen the problem? I’ve checked with a spirit level and this is fine, and the transit bolts have been removed and the filter/pump doesn’t appear to be blocked.

Our first machine so apologies for this futile question 🙂

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Mike,

Not a problem. I reckon you haven’t removed the 3 “Transit Bolts” holding the drum solid against the back panel. Do read your installation instructions and remove as illustrated in them 😉

    Martin,

I’ve checked those and they’ve been removed… the drum moves freely back and forth!
