ParticipantAn elderly neighbour asked last night if i could have a look at their supply as the breaker kept tripping. Turned out to be the RCD which i quickly traced to the oven. They have asked if i can repair it, problem is does anyone know what element is fitted – it’s a single oven and combined grill. I also noticed the hinged are worn and i’d prefer to fix both faults while the unit is out. As i’m placing an order with CPC, does anyone know the type of hinge fitted…

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch … 6695&N=411Might any of these elements be suitable… http://tinyurl.com/cjcnp
I’ll get the model number this evening if it’s required.
Thanks.January 27, 2006 at 5:21 pm #162540admin

hi
could you supply the model number which is on the top of the oven when taken out the housing.
none of the elements listed will fit this oven, but i do hold stock of all the elements and hinges for this manufacturer.
if you need the parts e-mail me with the correct model number and i will be able to sort them out for you.

Right, i’ve just popped round and had a look – no rating plate or identifiable details on the unit. The old girl produces a handbook for the matching hob which was a packaged deal from B&Q,shes pretty certain there was no other documentation so the only model number i can find is TFO14, does that ring any bells?

It’s probably a TFG14 but the rating plate will complete the model with GB??? on the end to identify correctly.
Best bet is take a piccie of the element and email it to Bryan or myself as there aren’t that many Teba (Arrow) one’s, bearing in mind they are essentially obsolete but we should be able to source one for you 😀

Thanks for the feedback guys. I’ll get back to you re this, most likely at some point early next week. Working on the assumption it is a TFG14, how much will an element and pair of door hinges come to? Thanks.
