ParticipantHi,
I just moved into a flat equipped with an Arrow electric oven/hob. I cannot work out how to use the oven (timer) and cannot find any user manual on the web, or even any website for Arrow products…!
Can someone help?
Thanks!December 10, 2006 at 4:02 pm #197547greaseater

Hi there,
The Arrow oven and hob packs were made by Teba (Turkey) and were made exclusively for B&Q.

Thanks Greaseater!
I just visited Teba’s website but there is no mention of their Arrow product line… No trace of Arrow products on the B&Q website either.
I have sent a request to Teba via their contact form. Hopefully someone will respond.
Is there any other tip you can give me?
Cheers.December 28, 2006 at 11:48 am #197549davy83

The glass door on my Arrow oven broke just before Christmas. I have spoken to my insurer this morning and was informed that Arrow went into liquidation last year, so there is no longer any technical info or spares available. 😥

I too have just moved into a house with an Arrow electric oven and I can’t get it to work. The clock/timer, light and fan are all working, but it just doesn’t heat up (oven or grill) – I guess this means that it’s the element(s) that’s faulty.
If Arrow went into liquidation, does anyone know if I can get a replacement element/elements for this oven, or if this fault can be fixed?
Many thanks.

I would test both elements to be on the safe side as another common factor may be the problem like a thermostat, if they have failed, the fan element is here:
And the various grill elements here:
The ones prefixed TEB but you will need to match the old one to the photo 🙂

Hi
Our Arrow oven ‘popped’ last night and has stopped working. No lights, no heat, hobs not working, nothing! The switch box on the wall still works (the light comes on when the switch is flipped) so it’s not blown the fuse in there or in the main fuse box.
Our lass tried ringing the info number that the couple beforee us left for the oven but after reading that they’ve gone bust I figure that’s why she can’t get through.
Any ideas as to what’s gone wrong with it? Is it best to get a sparky round and will it be an expensive job? (brassic after crimbo 🙁 ) Won’t need a new oven will we? Think it’s only about 2years old 🙁
Ta in advance

Hi
It may well be the thermalcut out or the fuse in the plug thats normally behind or under the oven,if its the fuse then it may well have been caused by an element failure.

We have an Arrow oven and hob – both the Elements went on us Grill and Oven, once I found out that the company had gone into liquidation I took the oven apart to see how easy it would be to replace the elements. Turns out it was quite easy, I took them down to a local appliances center and they gave me some generic elements. After a 30 minute putting everything back together it worked fine.
I have a new problem with it now that I can’t solve only one of the hobs works (top left) and I have no idea how to get the others to come back. Any suggestions.
P.S. if anyone does decide to have a go at this themselves I am no electrician but be careful, it’s dangerous stuff

My arrow oven is lighting up and the grill is heating up but the oven wont get warm. What part can be broken? Im thinking it must be something simple if it is only the oven. I can grill to my hearts content but i want oven chips! 😉
I know they have ceased trading as i have rang around and pretty much been told im dealing with a dead duck. The oven is only 2 years old, surely this is not the end. Please help ??Thanks

We’ve got an Arrow oven at home. Everything works fine except that it doesn’t get warm. The fan is working fine. The timing is working fine. However, when we switched off the temperature button, it simply doesn’t get warm. What’s the problem with it, any idea? Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can get a knob for a gas Arrow hob? Not sure what model it is but have tried lots of different knobs to no avail.
