Had a call from a woman who I sold an Ascea to 27 years ago,she is complaining it has got noisey first fault in that time.

Motor bearings gone so told her it wasn’t worth repairing,so she want’s another one,she wants to know will that one last as long she is 83 which means she expects to live to 110.

I told her I wont be around that long and at 67 I find them to bloody heavy.

Question is do I sell her another one?

Good question and a tough call.

We get a few customers that just won’t have anything else, regardless of the age of the customer.

Last week, a woman moving back from NYC insisted that she was having our WM and TD on no uncertain terms. She’d had them (Asko) out there for years and wasn’t having anything else, she’s about 65 or so from what I was told.

Her thinking was, literally, that if she popped her clogs it was another heirloom for the family.

What can you say to that?
