Asea 750 table top dishwasher

I have an ASEA SKANDIA CYLINDA 750 dishwasher – designated s table top design but has happily been tucked just under a worktop for over 10 years and still washing fine. Probably the best designed compact dishwasher ever out there – shame nobody seems to make them like this any more – all compacts are full height and just less wide, where this is full width but tucked under my worktop it sits on a large drawer unit giving much more usable space.

But it has developed a habit of leaking nasty brown liquid from somewhere underneath. Sounds a bit like a failed seal of some description to me, but I know nothing!

Would I be wasting my time trying to get it repaired? Are parts still available?
Does anyone make a similar design today?

Definitely consider the repair George, it may as you say be a seal problem, possibly one of the pumps.

These Asko’s were very good and efficient by comparison to some of the other compact dishwashers.

Pop your postcode up and someone here should be able to help with a service visit.

Thanks. Postcode KT20 (Reigate and Banstead).

Any volunteers? (I can bring it to the repairer – it is currently in the garage while a kitchen refit goes on anyway – and it is easily transported)

I have a asea cylinda 700 table top dishwasher and was wondering if anyone can help me get the user manual for it as I bought it 2nd hand and I don’t have one.

The ASEA/Cylinda 700/750 dishwashers were built around 1986 and also branded as Ariston 700 .
