ASEA Table top d/w

Blast from the past this one,Machine wont drain at end of cycle ,Yet when I walk in the door and put it on a drain position it drains away fine .
Was there a common fault on these as I ditched all our asea /asko manuals when we moved thinking Askos would never darken our door again .
Any help appreciated

Which model is it Lawrence, the mechanical timer type or electronic ? I guess as you “put” it on the drain cycle it’s a mechanical timer.

I had one of these wich did just that, it was a piece of crap (not literally) floating around in the sump/pump area.
