Asko W600 Not draining when on spin part of cycle

I have an intermittent problem on a 13yr old Asko W600 I brought with me to UK from Australia.

Machine goes through wash cycle normally, pumping out water with no issues until it gets to the spin cycle (where I think it is starting it’s spin cycle with water still in sump of m/c).

Machine goes through spin cycle but whilst spinning is not pumping out water. Cycle selection dial completes it’s rotation back to the start position but door will not open (I assume because it detects water left in m/c). No error lights show.

If I now select a spin cycle sometimes it will repeat the fault but after a variable number of attempts m/c will pump out and complete.

Any advice on what to look at? Or recommend a service engineer familiar with Asko in the Berkshire area?

Check the pump and filter is clean and air bottle is also clean.

I couldn’t find any air bottle fitted to this m/c but I did find a partial blockage of drain hose (thanks to a 5p coin and some ‘fluff’).

Cleaned out hose by back flushing and m/c works perfectly again.
