I have an ATAG cooker hood (WK411) which is about 9 years old.
No longer available, so am trying to fathom out how to repair it.
If I disconnect it from the power supply and re-connect it some time later it works fine, but only for a while. Can switch the lights and motor on and all then works for a while. I then switch off the lights and motor and some time later come back to the kitchen I find nothing works (not sure how long it is before it stops working). Then I disconnect it, wait (so far have left it a few hours), re-connect it and lo and behold it works – seems very strange.
There is a 4 microfarad capacitor (Ducati) in the control box , am wondering if it could be that. Am thinking of trying to find a replacement capacitor and just seeing what happens with a new capacitor.
Or is there any way of buying a replacement control box?
Many thanks to anyone who can throw some light on the possible reason for the problem.

    😕
